Short Features
"Bagels Are Not Free" - Childrens Comedy Short (Format: .WMV, Length: 1:15, File Size: 4.7MB)

"Bagels Are Not Free" is a comedy short about what happens when the four children of OIC Productions Co-Founder, Mickey Grackin, come across a deserted park while walking through the woods.

"Civil War Dad" - A 'Letter Home' Video (Format: .WMV, Length: 1:20, File Size: 4.7MB)

OIC Productions Co-Founder Mickey Grackin took some footage of a Civil War battle re-enactment he recently taped and added a little bit of Ken Burns and a little bit of "A Civil War Letter to Home" narration to create the "Civil War Dad" message to his family while they were on vacation at the in-laws.

"Darth Vader Home School" - Animation Short (Format: .WMV, Length: 1:30, File Size: 3.5MB)

Darth Vader Home School is OIC Productions first animation video. "I've always wanted to create a stop motion animation video" says Co-Founder Mickey Grackin. And so he did. Utilizing a four inch tall Darth Vader action figure Mickey created this comedy short to try his hand at stop motion animation. Watch the video and judge for yourself whether or not OIC Productions should keep animation as a permanent part of its skills set.

"Jonathan's Big Break" - Vacation Video (Format: .WMV, Length: 0:14, File Size: 1.0MB)

While vacationing in Florida with his wife and children, Mickey had an idea. He was playing billiards with his oldest two children at the resort and decided to film the raw footage for this little video about Jonathan's Big Break.

"Man Lives Alone" - A "How To" Survive Video (Format: .WMV, Length: 5:30, File Size: 21MB)

Once again OIC Productions Co-Founder Mickey Grackin was abandoned by his family and left alone to survive by himself for the week while they enjoyed themselves at the beach. Hmm, surviving alone. That sounds familiar. Kind of like 'Man vs. Wild' on the Discovery Channel. Mickey's children have recently discovered this show and so he decided to produce another surprise video and post it on the internet for the family to see while they were away. "This isn't my best work," says Mickey about 'Man Lives Alone', "but the children and my wife really enjoyed it and think it is very good." With a little inspiration from 'Man vs. Wild', a video camera and a clueless cat, Mickey filmed, edited and released 'Man Lives Alone' in less than twenty four hours.

"Snack Attack" - Mini-Movie Contest Entry (Format: .WMV, Length: 2:56, File Size: 11MB)
sponsored by America's Funniest Home Videos

This video is a comedy short about what happens when Mickey tries to consume his favorite snack alone. "Snack Attack" has been submitted to America's Funniest Home Videos (AFV) Mini-Movie contest. Unfortunately, it did not make it to primetime television.

"Snack Attack II" - Comedy Short Sequel (Format: .WMV, Length: 4:26, File Size: 16MB)

This video is a sequel to the comedy short "Snack Attack" about what happens when Mickey tries to consume his favorite snack alone. This time around Mickey finds himself surrounded by older and wiser children. However, Mickey has a trick or two up his sleeve as well or so he thinks.

"Turbo Hockey" - Childrens Comedy Short (Format: .WMV, Length: 0:40, File Size: 2.4MB)

One night OIC Productions Co-Founder Mickey Grackin saw that his two younger children were having a blast playing a game on their air hockey table. This was no ordinary game. They had all six pucks on the table at the same time! Of course Mickey grab his video camera seeing this was a great moment to capture on video. The video "Turbo Hockey" is the resulting video he made for the kids to enjoy and hopefully you will too.

"Vegas has You" - Ten Second Video Contest Entry (Format: .WMV, Length: 0:10, File Size: 400KB)
sponsored by VASST

A web site, VASST, dedicated to Sony Vegas users held a ten second video contest. The goal was to create a ten second video demonstrating the capabilities of Vegas. Mickey Grackin and Tom Dubill got together and filmed "Vegas has You" and sent it in.

Family Albums
Grackin Family Album

OIC Productions produced a year-in-review video of the Grackin family children. The Grackin Family Album is a compilation of pictures and video of the children taken through out the year. Most importantly, the video includes footage of the newest Grackin family member whom many of their relatives and friends had not met in person yet.

Copies of the video on DVD and VHS were sent to relatives and friends as a gift for the holiday season. Many compliments were received from those who enjoyed the video very much.

Weddings
Danny & Holly

OIC Productions crew members Mickey Grackin and Tom Dubill served once again as the videographer for some friends from church who were married on April 28th, 2007. This was the third wedding in OIC Productions history for which they served as the videographer. The ceremony and reception were captured on video and Mickey Grackin served as the editor for this production. The wedding video was completed and released on DVD in August.

"It is a lot of fun to film a wedding." says Mickey. "Tom and I work well together, coordinating shots before and even during the ceremony. It is fun to review the order of events for a wedding and then plan were the cameras should be at each moment during the ceremony. This most recent wedding had an unexpected change of events in the ceremony but both Tom and I responded quickly and were able to flow with it and capture the moment well."

David & Nancy

From time to time we all have friends who find their perfect mate and decide to enter into the covenant of marriage and spend the rest of their lives together. Well the staff at OIC Productions are no exception! OIC Productions served as the videographer for some friends, David & Nancy, to capture on video their joyful day of joining together before the Lord in marriage. OIC Productions was on location at King of the Nations Christian Fellowship on November 19th, 2005 for the main event. In true OIC Productions fashion, two cameramen were on hand to make sure every precious moment was captured on video.

It is the policy of OIC Productions to have at least two cameramen at each wedding for which we serve as the videographer.

Greg & Sabrina

The wedding of Greg & Sabrina was lovingly captured on video by OIC Productions. A two-man camera crew recorded the entire ceremony and much of the reception. The wedding presentation was edited digitally and the final presentation was placed on VHS video.

Special Events
Lenora's Birthday Celebration

OIC Productions wrote, filmed, directed and produced a surprise video birthday gift for Mickey's wife, Lenora. The video consisted of interviews of numerous family members and friends recounting their first impressions of Lenora and sharing wonderful stories about Lenora and how she has touched their lives. A few celebrity cameos were included as well.

"MI: Tom Dubill" - Bachelor Party Video (Format: .WMV, Length: 6:11, File Size: 19MB)

This video was done by Mickey as a gift for Tom Dubill for his Bachelor party. Mickey contacted as many guys as possible that were attending the bachelor party to get them involved with this project. Even the bride-to-be and two bride's maids got in on the surprise with a special appearance in the video. The video is a comedy short portraying all the guys as special agents on Mickey's Mission Impossible team. Their mission? To get Tom to the altar on time!

Copies of the video on DVD were given to all the guys who attended the party. In true OIC Productions style, the DVD contained a bloopers reel documenting some of the funny moments that occurred during the filming.

Snow Fall - February 2010 (Format: .WMV, Length: 10:15, File Size: 38MB)

Here is a short video mainly for my (Mickey) relatives to view who are not in the Washington, DC area. February 2010 was a brutal month for snow storms. The entire Federal Government was shutdown most of the week from Feb 8th through the 11th.
